Max Harold Forste, Jr., was born on December 15, 1963, in Normandy, Missouri, the son of Max Harold Forste, Sr. and Brenda Lisle Forste. He entered into rest on November 5, 2024, at his home, at the age of 60. Max was a graduate of Carthage High School and worked for many years as a security guard for Allied at General Dynamics. He was a volunteer firefighter for Seneca Fire Department and enjoyed bowling, fishing and playing pool. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Neosho Ward. On October 19, 2003, in Neosho, Max and Shelley Ja'neen Lukasiewicz were united in marriage and she survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael Forste of Carthage and Jorge Michael Gonzalez and wife, Carina of Neosho: four grandchildren, Evan Michael Forste, Lorena, Alena and Matteo Gonzalez and one sister, Cynthia Diane Cline and husband, Greg of Reeds, Missouri. Max was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, great-uncle and great-great uncle. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in the Neosho IOOF Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 pm until service time.
