In Loving Memory of Maximiliano Arboleda
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maximiliano Arboleda, who departed this life at the age of 81 on April 23, 2025. Born on May 16, 1943, in Cali, Colombia, Maximiliano lived a life with courage, perseverance, dedication, and a spirit that inspired those around him
He proudly served in the Colombian military, where he held the role of Military Police-a position that reflected his strong sense of discipline, responsibility, and integrity.
At the age of 27, he made the courageous decision to leave his homeland and begin a new chapter in the United States. It was here that Maximiliano found opportunity, lasting friendships, and a place to call home.
Maximiliano explored a number of professions, including nursing and dentistry. However, it was in the world of mechanics and auto body work where he found his true calling. With passion and perseverance, he built a respected career in the automotive industry, earning the admiration of both colleagues and clients alike.
Beyond his professional life, Maximiliano was known for his vibrant spirit and many talents. A lifelong lover of salsa music and dance, he was often the first one on the dance floor. He cherished animals, was an avid soccer fan and skilled player. He was always eager to share his love for the sport.
A talented guitarist and singer, his music, laughter, and storytelling brought life to family gatherings and celebrations.
For him, nothing surpassed the pride and joy he felt in his children's and grandchildren's achievements, and he made sure to be the first to shower them with love and praise.
"Para Adelante!" he would say.
Maximiliano is survived by his children Humberto, Jacqueline, Natalia, Linda Evelin, Diana, and Alex. His grandchildren Erik, Christian, Jorge, Diana, Joseph, Nina, Marc, Jessica, AJ, Laila, Aiden, Cassandra, and Ayla; as well as his loving extended family and countless friends. Each carries with them the light of his memory, the sound of his music, and the warmth of his heart.
Maximiliano held a deep Catholic faith that guided him throughout his life. He attended services frequently, finding comfort and strength in his spirituality, which he shared with those around him.
As we honor and celebrate the life of Maximiliano Arboleda, we remember a man who embraced each moment with courage, joy, and love. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Maximiliano, please visit our Tree Store.
