She spent the majority of her growing up years in Springdale with her siblings and parents. She moved to Cedar City in her late teen years and this is where she met her future husband Franklin Ira Branin. They were married on March 5, 1950 in Ely Nevada. Together they had 3 children and raised them in Cedar City.
Maxine was preceded in death by siblings, parents and husband. She is survived by her daughters Gail (Dan) Leigh, Suzanne Nielsen and Francine (Derol) Simkins, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Friends and family may call Wednesday May 22, 2024 from 10-10:30 a.m. at the HeartLight Funeral Home, 2002 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah (435-586-3456). Graveside Service and Interment will be held Wednesday May 22, 2024 at the Cedar City Cemetery 685 North Main Street at 11 a.m.
