She is survived by her sister, Irene Wilson, her children Robert (Bobby) Malmay, James (Mike) Malmay (Heidi), and J.P. Malmay (Rori), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Maxine was an avid homemaker and worked for many years in the medical field and as a cashier. She enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, gardening, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed helping raise her granddaughter, Crystal. She especially cherished being able to raise her great grandson, Anthony.
The family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to DeSoto District 9 Fire Station in Frierson, DeSoto EMS, and the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Department.
A memorial service will be held at Aulds Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2022. Gary Landers is officiating. Interment will be at Griers Chapel Cemetery in Trenton, Tennessee.
