Maxine Ruth Dickerson

Age 57 of Elmira, NY was born September 24, 1966 in Elmira, the daughter of the late Elston A. and Joan H. (Warner) Champluvier Sr. She passed away very unexpectedly, yet peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at her home. Her niece, JoAnn Faulkner; step-brother, Elston Paul Champluvier; sister-in-law, Joann Champluvier, preceded her in death. She leaves behind her loving son, William Joseph Champluvier and his sons, Jeremiah and Eddie; beloved siblings: Betty and Donald Faulkner of Wellsburg, NY; Linda Zuke of Horseheads, NY; Robert and Roseann Champluvier of Corning, NY; Elston A. Champluvier Jr. of Elmira, NY; Patricia and Terry Kinner of Elmira Heights, NY; Louann and John Bentley of Elmira, NY; George Champluvier of Savona, NY; Calista Champluvier of Dallas, PA; special friend, Jackie Mann of Elmira, NY; feline companion, "Mistra"; along with several beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers. Maxine was employed at Capabilities Inc. for 20 plus years and her favorite job was pealing film off metal. She enjoyed walking, playing solitaire, cats and anything to do with butterflies. Her free time was taken up with Wish.com and Temu. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J.
