Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mrs. Maxine Malone, 81, of Trenton died on August 16, 2025, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Maxine was born June 6, 1944, in Jones County to the late Elisha and Gladie Strayhorn

She is survived by her loving husband, Ray C. Malone; three children, Madison C. Hargett Jr. (Santina) of Trenton, NC, Shawna Hargett of Charlotte, NC, and Damien Malone (Joy) of Durham, NC; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

The service remembering her life and legacy will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, August 23, 2025, in the sanctuary of Kings Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1015 Church St., 127 Haiti St, Trenton, NC

Interment will follow in the Haiti Cemetery

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday, August 22, 2025, at Trinity Funeral Service.
