Maxine Rendleman Obituary
CARBONDALE - Maxine Rendleman, age 96, passed away on May 7, 2024 at Manor Court of Carbondale.
Maxine was born on May 7, 1928 in Herrin, IL to William and Ina (Brown) Cunningham. Maxine married Raymond Rendleman in Morganfield, Kentucky. He preceded her in death in 1967.
Maxine worked as a receptionist for Southern Illinois University for many years. She enjoyed watching TV, listening to talking books, and going to lunch with her family at Cindy B’s in Murphysboro.
Maxine is survived by her son, Ron Rendleman and daughter, Pamela Viita; grandson Michael Viita; and three great-grandchildren, Ryan, Haley, and Bryn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, and parents.
Graveside services for Maxine will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Oakland Cemetery in Carbondale.
