Megan Denise Lawson, born on September 9, 2000, in Forsyth County, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, in the same county that was her lifelong home. At the young age of 25, Megan's vibrant spirit touched all who knew her.
Megan found immense joy and fulfillment in painting alongside her father, a pursuit that allowed her to express her creativity and passion for art. Her love for painting was matched only by her enthusiasm for shopping, spending cherished moments with her beloved nieces, and enjoying movie nights. Always ready for the next adventure or simple joy, Megan lived her life with an effervescent energy that was infectious to those around her.
Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she leaves behind cherished memories with her mother, Pam Lawson; father, Ken Barlow; and brother, Justen Price. Megan was a devoted aunt to her three nieces, Rose, Talley, and Zari, who brought her endless happiness. She is also survived by her uncle, Steven Barlow, and his wife, Rose; five cousins, Mike, Joseph, Lisa, Chris, and Sara Barlow; her aunt Laura Hudson; and uncle, Paul Lawson.
Megan's bright light will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. The family will honor Megan's memory in a private celebration of her life, holding close the precious moments shared with her.
Megan's legacy of love, laughter, and life will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
