Meickle was born on May 18, 1962 in Peoria, IL to Rev. Robert and Lillian (Russell) Ohlmann. She married David Oswald on July 12, 1996 in Chillicothe, IL.
Surviving are her husband, David; her sister, Trudy Spencer of Chillicothe, IL; her brother, Robert Ohlmann of Grassy Creek, NC; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Meickle worked in health care as a Registered Nurse for many years, before becoming disabled. She loved animals, especially her beloved cat, King Tucker. Meickle loved the Lord and attended Cross Baptist Church.
Cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no services at this time. Memorials in Meickle's name may be made to Crossroads Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Meickle, please visit our Tree Store.
