Mel B. Budish

Melvin "Mel" B. Budish, age 90, of Buffalo Grove, born and raised on the West Side of Chicago, beloved husband and best friend for 42 years of Linda Budish, nee Saxon; loving father of Cebrina Hardy and Todd (fiancée Maggie Maroney) Budish; cherished stepfather of Julie Magnetti and the late Gary Stein and the late Mark Stein; adored Papa of Josh (Kathryn) Hardy, Shaina (Brock) Harrell, Brittany (Stephen) Angell, Jordan (Austin) Fite, and Adam (fiancée Tatum Jostand) Magnetti; proud great grandfather of Margaret, Desmond "Desi", Brayden, Stella, Kane, Aubree, and Alivia; dear brother of the late Irving (late Jan) Budish and the late Seymour "Buddy" (late Ruth) Budish; fond brother-in-law of the late Susan (late Lee) Windmiller; treasured uncle and friend of many. Mel was the ultimate salesman, if there was something to sell, he would sell it. Specifically, Mel was a salesman from CliffsNotes to insurance, and everything in between. Mel will be remembered as being the life of the party, his playful demeanor, a master of sayings, and being a life-long Chicago Bears fan. Mel will be so dearly missed by his family and friends. He was one-of-kind.
