Of South Milwaukee - Wisconsin passed away on July 22, 2024. Michael was the beloved husband of Susan (nee Helminak) for 46 years. Loving father to Jonathan (Jackalyn) Budish who will be cherished forever. Proud and adoring grandfather of Wesley and Memphis Budish. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Norbert and Anne (nee Kroll) Budish. Further survived by his sister, Rosemary (Jim) Morisse, Brother-in-law Dale (Karalee) Helminak, Daniel Helminak, Sister-in-law, Sally (the late Stephen) Goldstein. Nieces and nephews, Timothy Morisse, Jeffery Morisse, Chad (Carolyn) Helminak, Troy (Gina) Helminak, Matthew Goldstein and Rachel Goldstein. Further survived by cousins, other relatives and many dear friends. Michael enjoyed a long and rewarding career in Civil Engineering. He was active and enjoyed music, tennis, pickleball, billiards, motorcycle riding, and hot rod/motorcycle building. Quiet moments were spent reading, gardening and enjoying nature. A remembrance celebrating Michael's life will be held at a later date.

Seined for crayfish with Michael in the Root River in the 70s. A few dozen were not enough to feed six but surely was an exciting and memorable experience.
