Mel Miller Obituary

Born May 20, 1949, in Bassett, Nebraska, to Arthur and Lena (Frizzell) Miller. He grew up in Nebraska. His whole life centered around horses and the outdoors. He worked in feedlots in Nebraska and drove trucks. Like any good horse trader and trainer, he was full of stories and loved meeting people.
Mel was married to Suzy Morton in 1989. They had lived in Granger and moved to Lucas 23 years ago. The ranch next to Stephens State Forest was a perfect place to enjoy the outdoors and raise and train horses.
Mel will be greatly missed by his wife, Suzy Morton-Miller; sons: Keith and Kyle Miller; a sister, Betty Hamsa; and a host of relatives and friends. To send flowers to the family of Mel, please visit our floral store.
