Melanie Elaine Wright

Melanie Elaine Wright, age 48, of Henderson, KY, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at her home. Melanie always enjoyed going out to eat with her mom and daughter. She was very sarcastic and was so proud of her daughter. She worked at Goodwill Industries for 20 years, where she met many friends and was loved by everyone. Her cat Mango and dog Sadi were a huge part of her life. Melanie was recently baptized and accepted Jesus into her life. Melanie was preceded in death by her father Eddy W. Wright, Sr., paternal grandparents Frank and Virginia Wright, and her maternal grandparents Magdalene Sutton and Sterman Snodgrass. She is survived by her daughter Courtney Wright of Henderson, KY; mother Shirley Wright of Henderson, KY; sister Christy Moseley of Henderson, KY; brothers: David Wright of Henderson, KY, Timothy Wright of Spottsville, KY, and Eddy Wright, Jr. of Henderson, KY; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Melanie's Life Celebration from 12:00 p.m. until the service time on Sunday at Finley Baptist Church in Henderson, KY.
