Melinda J. (Dixon) Scapicchio, 47 of Woonsocket passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
She was the wife of Joseph Scapicchio.
Born March 24, 1978 in Natick, Massachusetts she was the daughter of Richard Dixon Jr., and the late Jeannie (Corbett) Dixon.
Mrs. Scapicchio worked as a Property Manager for 22 years, most recently for Jones Street Residential.
She enjoyed soaking in the sun, loved dancing to her favorite music, spontaneous trips, dressing up and going out, she loved meeting new people and making friends, her pets and most importantly loved her kids dearly.
She was a member of Saint Joseph's Veterans Association and Woonsocket Lodge of Elks.
Besides her husband and father she leaves four children: Kailey Wadsworth, Aryiella Wadsworth and Giavanna Scapicchio all of Woonsocket, R.I., one son: Anthony Casavant of Grafton, Massachusetts, one brother, Richard Dixon (Gabrielle) of North Carolina, two step sisters: Trisha Dixon of Medway, MA; Emily Nedoroscik of Manchester, NH; one step brother, Bill Dixon of Worcester, Massachusetts.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 1:00-3:00 pm at the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 N. Main Street, Uxbridge, followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 pm
Burial will be Private.
