Melissa “Missy” Lynn Berry
Melissa “Missy” Lynn Berry of Fishers, IN, passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 70. She was born in Tiffin, OH, on April 20, 1955, to parents, William Sr. and Evelyn (Greely) Byron.
Missy graduated from Northwest High School in 1973. She worked in the medical field in many different capacities throughout her entire career, retiring in 2024. She loved Indiana sports, concerts, bowling, her cats, and anything related to her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by children, Jenni (Randy) Berry-Buchanan, Ryan (Katherine) Berry; grandchildren, Jared Berry, Joseph Buchanan, Brookelyn Buchanan; siblings, William “Bill” Byron, Jr., Karen Deye, and Lois Bucksot.
She was preceded in death by her parents and niece, Colleen Byron.
Visitation will be held from 10am until 12pm, Friday, November 7, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan Oaklawn Memorial Gardens – Conner Suite (9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis, IN). A Funeral Service will be held directly following at 12pm. Burial will follow funeral service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Missy loved purple. It would be a great tribute if you have something purple to wear with your attire, but it is not required.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Missy's honor can be made out to the American Cancer Society or to the Hamilton County Humane Society.
