Melissa P. Melucci (Iafallo) 56, of Riverside, passed away Wednesday August 21, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital after an unexpected medical illness. She was a lifetime resident of Cranston before moving to Riverside six years ago. Melissa graduated from Cranston High School East class of 1986 and attended CCRI for business administration. She was a customer service representative for various companies throughout her career.
Melissa was married to her high school sweetheart Thomas F. Melucci Jr. for 36 years. Melissa was born in Providence to her late parents Domenic and Vilma (Angarella) Iafallo.
Besides her husband Melissa is survived by her maternal aunt Patricia Duguay (Joseph), uncle Richard Angarella and numerous cousins. Melissa was the aunt and God Mother of nephew Roman Cipriano as well as the aunt of Kai Reed. Melissa's love for animals was unprecedented and she is survived by her fur babies, Max, Butterscotch, and Bella.

Growing up, she loved going to the feasts to celebrate her heritage with family and friends. She was an avid ceramic enthusiast, and loved getting together with friends to laugh, talk, and eat. She made time for everyone whether they were childhood friends or recent relationships.
