Melissa Beth Poole-Nuckols, 43, a 10-year resident of Deale and previously of Davidsonville, MD, died on August 6, 2024 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born on March 10, 1981 in Annapolis, MD, Melissa graduated from South River High School in 1999 and continued studies at Anne Arundel Community College. She began her career in customer support at INO.com in Deale. In 2010, Melissa joined her family's business where she worked as an office administrator for 14 years until she made the choice to devote herself full time to raising her children. In addition to her family, Melissa loved the beach, running and working out. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 226. Melissa is survived by her husband of 9 years, William Nuckols, Jr.; her children, Dylan M. Seely and Brooklynn E. Nuckols; her parents, James E. and Deborah L. Poole of Davidsonville; her brother, James "Matt" Poole of Ocean Isle Beach, NC and her sister, Heather L. Poole of Davidsonville. Friends are invited to celebrate Melissa's life with her family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM on Tuesday, August 13 at the Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD where her funeral service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, August 14.
