Surviving is her son, Duane Austin Lyell of Sikeston, her mother and stepfather, Judy Nunnelee Leigh and Jim Leigh of Sikeston, as well as several aunts, uncles and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Herring, her brother, Jonathan Walter Herring, her maternal grandparents, John F. Nunnelee and Myrtle Rogers Nunnelee and her paternal grandmother, Mattie Jane McSwain.
Arrangements for a service at the First Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO, are incomplete.
McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
