Mia Dean Bennett

Mia Dean Bennett, 61, of Maysville, North Carolina was welcomed into the arms of her savior Sunday, January 18th while surrounded by family.

Mia spread warmth, light and the love of Jesus everywhere she went. She was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother who fiercely loved her family, always willing to go to spiritual battle and cover her loved ones in prayer.

If you knew Mia, you knew how stylish she was. Leopard print was considered a neutral and pink was her signature color.

She loved interior decorating, tending to her flowers, cooking for her family and gave generously. She truly put her all in everything she did. Everything she did was done in love.

Mia has left a legacy of love and wisdom. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren deeply and unconditionally. She was always willing to lend a listening ear, give a kind word of encouragement and pray over anyone in need.

Mia Bennett is preceded in death by her son, Cody, her step son, Trey, and her parents Ruby and Paul. She leaves behind her husband Jr, daughter Erica and her husband Alex, daughter Haley and her husband Aaron, step daughters Stephanie and Becca, 13 grandchildren and her brother Jeff and his wife Janice.

A Celebration of Mia's Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday January 22, 2026, at Triune Holiness Church, 117 Smith Lane, Maysville, NC 28555. Interment will follow the service at the Bennett Family Cemetery in Maysville. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Wednesday January 21, 2026, at Kahlert Funeral Chapel.
