So sad to hear this. Followed Mia around for several years on the golf course with the high school golf team. A great teammate and player as well as artist and student. Many prayers for her and her family.

i remember mia from 8th grade. we were not in the same circles, so we didn´t really talk, but she was always somebody whose face i recognized. we were mutuals on social media as well. i did not want to disrespect her friends and family by showing up to the funeral without having been close to her, but i want her loved ones to know that even her acquaintances feel her loss. i will be sending flowers as soon as i get paid from work.

Ica and I grew up alongside each other. I remember 12th birthday my sleepover party as a child as if it were yesterday. Being in show choir together was another privilege we shared together. Nothing but happy memories.

I met Ica (Mia) at Applebee´s. Their smile would light up a room. Their laugh was so contagious. I will never forget our moments together. She reminded me so much of my own sister it was crazy. We instantly became friends. Always had an open ear. Thought me something new everyday. My son, Dallas, had a nice connection with them. We love you

I had the privilege to work with Ica a little over a year at the Bee's. Some of my favorite moments at the restaurant is when the servers would come to the host stand and just talk about life and joke around. I remember one day, they came to the stand with another coworker and manager and by the end of it, we were all in tears of laughter. I think about it a lot and appreciate it as it was a darker time for me.
Thank you for being a light in my world <3 and condolences to family and friends.

We never really talked in high school as we had different friend groups, but when we did get the chance to hang out, they were the sweetest most caring person anyone could be. My heart sank when I heard the news and they will be missed dearly. This world got a little duller losing such a bright, talented and cheery person

They drew this of me when I was an Applebee´s manager. I didn´t know it was happening until it was handed to me. A small gesture, but it really meant a lot to me.

I remember when we worked together at Applebees, we always talked together. I knew her long before that though. We weren't in the same Girl Scout troop, but she always wanted to help the younger girls. I will forever cherish all of the small moments.

I met Mia through my daughter Allie England and Mylo and Jacki. They all lived together. Mia was such a sweetheart. She was an amazing artist and when I lost my dogs she painted a picture of both of them for me. I will cherish those for ever. You will be missed a lot.
