Michael Leon Bare has peacefully gone to be with the Lord on July 15, 2025, at the age of 74.
Michael was born on November 23, 1950, in Hagerstown, Maryland, to Hilda and Charles Bare. He graduated from Frederick High School in 1969. On March 12, 1971, Michael married Ellen Denise Starook in Frederick, Maryland. He then went on to attend and graduate with Honors and a Bachelor’s in Engineering Technology from Trinity College and University in 1983. Michael also earned a Certificate in Christian Education from Berean College and University in 1994 and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 1999. He retired from Lockheed Martin in 2019, after working there for 34 years. He attended Grace Church in Burleson, Texas.
Michael loved many things, like painting landscapes, but mostly he loved studying and teaching the Bible, and most of all, his family.
Michael is greeted in Heaven by his father, Charles Bare, his granddaughter, Ashley Medina Bare, and his great-grandson, Christian Douglas Bare, Jr.
Those left to cherish Michael’s memory are his wife of over 54 years, Ellen D. Bare; his children, Jonathan D. and Krystal Plumlee Bare, and Julie D. Bare; his mother, Hilda Valencia; his siblings, Jennifer Bare, Craig Bare, Brian and Michelle Valencia; his grandchildren, Christian and Trinity Bare, Lyndsey Bessinger, Blake Bessinger, Jordan Bare, Kevin Alexander, Gabby Bare, and Christopher Alexander; his great-grandchildren, Oliver and Delilah Bare, along with many other loving family members and friends.
