Michael Eugene Barrow

Michael Eugene Barrow, 80 of Little Rock, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2022 after a courageous battle following a stroke. He was a loving brother and friend to so many people in his life. He was born in Wichita, Kansas on October 8, 1942 to Gene Barrow and Bernice Harrison Barrow from Fordyce.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Brett Barrow.
He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Barrow Henry of Little Rock and a brother, Ted Barrow (Debbie) of Willow Park, Texas; children, Matt Barrow (Marilyn) and Abby Barrow; four grandchildren, Jenny Barrow, Nicholas Barrow, Annie Amberg (Hunter), and Emily Summers (Avery), and many nieces, nepews, cousins, and friends.
Mike grew up in Fordyce, Arkansas and was on the Redbug football team. He graduated with a business degree from Henderson State University and became a roofing contractor living in Helena, Arkansas, and later moving to North Little Rock. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling and most of all skiing in Aspen, Colorado.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers and especially Lecia Piggee and Beverly Rice who were with him for many years.
