Mike and I were classmates from high school. We always got along great and he was one of my favorite classmates. I was very saddened to hear about his passing. Unfortunately, we never ran into each other after graduation. During out time in high school, we and a few other friends would talk about WWF wrestling and I told Mike I would manage him to the WWF championship under the name "Marvelous Mike Bashore" and that is how he signed my yearbook. I will always have fond memories of him and I will miss him. Rest In Peace, my friend!!

I wanted to share some of the best ways we spent our time together. Enjoy the memories... I believe this was one of the last times he pitched with our team.

Mike and I worked together for 17 years at Mack Truck. Before that we worked for Supervalu. He was my best friend ! He will be sadly missed.

My sincere condolences to the family. I remember playing baseball against him in Legion during the 1980's, the men's senior 35+ and 45+ leagues, and then on the same team, including trips to Florida. I much rather have him on my team. He was a great competitor and teammate and I enjoyed catching him. My favorite quote was, "set up on the outside corner and I'll hit your mitt." That's all I had to do. He took care of the rest!

We will miss Mike and we cherish the time we shared with him. Our baseball years were better when we could play against him and beside him!! Pitch like never before Mike!
