Michael Edward Belote, age 70, of Gallatin, passed away August 21, 2025. Mike was born on September 11, 1954 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Frank and Jean Belote. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank S. Belote, Jr. and William V. Belote.
He was a proud graduate of Gallatin High School, Class of 1972, and Volunteer State Community College.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Karen Tatum Belote; step-children, Thomas Arnett and Katie Woods (Harvey); grandchildren, Josie, Cora, and Harleigh Woods; sister, Carolyn Neal (Mike), and his nephews, Bryan Neal (Kelly) and Logan Neal (Morgan).
A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, 12:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church Gallatin with Rev. John Penfield and Pastor Travis Fleming officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Starting Strong at First Baptist Gallatin, 205 E. Main Street, Gallatin, TN 37066.
