Michael K. Bier, age 32 of North Ridgeville, died suddenly Monday, December 26, 2005 at Fairview General Hospital, Cleveland. He was born January 8, 1973 in Cleveland. He had resided in North Ridgeville most of his life. He also had lived in Lakewood and Elyria. He graduated from North Ridgeville High School with the class of 1991. He attended L.C.C.C studying Phlebotomy. He was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, North Ridgeville. Mr. Bier worked as a Sterile Supply Technician for Fairview General Hospital for the past 11 years. He enjoyed playing legos with his son and body building. Surviving are his son Ulric Michael Bier of Elyria, his Parents, Michael and Joan Bier of North Ridgeville; brother, David Bier of Columbia Station; Sister, Mrs. Kris (Heather) White of Amherst; paternal grandparents, Ken and Billie Bier of North Ridgeville and maternal grandmother, Anna Sharkody of Westlake. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Ann O'Hara in 1974 and maternal Grandfather, Charles Sharkody in 1985. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Services will be held at First Congregational United Church Of Christ, Friday, December 30, 2005 at 11AM with Rev. Ellen Palmer-Marsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Ridgeville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael Bier Memorial Fund for the Education of Ulric Bier in care of Fifth Third Bank 32800 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039.
