Michael Bougades, a beloved friend and cherished member of the community, passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 58. Born in New York City, New York, on August 6, 1966. He is survived by his loving sister, Kim Corless of Trinity, FL and brother, Peter Bougades of River Edge, NJ. His parents were the late Manny & Mary Bougades and siblings of the late Billy & Joanne Corless. His memory lives on with his nephew, Danny Mazzarella and niece Sarah Stavarski.

Michael was a man of unwavering loyalty, dedication, and passion who touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

In his early years, Michael moved with his family to Bogota, New Jersey, where he attended Saint Joseph’s grammar School (1981) and graduated Bogota High School (1985) where he cultivated a love for sports, excelling in football and baseball. Sports became a lifelong passion for Michael, and he was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees, New York Giants, Denver Broncos, New York Rangers and Boston Bruins. His enthusiasm for the games he loved was contagious, and he proudly embraced the spirit of a true Buccaneer.

Michael also served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged.
