Michael Allen Brewster, born on October 11, 1964, in Riverside, California, passed away peacefully in Columbia, Missouri, on November 21, 2025. He left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a spirit that touched everyone he met.
Michael was a dedicated man, known for his hard work in the construction field, especially in concrete, and he was admired by many as a gifted mechanic. His skills were not just limited to his profession; he enjoyed teaching his children and grandchildren the art of driving and the intricacies of working on cars, instilling in them a sense of pride and responsibility that he cherished himself.
A alumnus of Paris High School in Paris, California, Michael remained a loyal supporter of his beloved Raiders, often finding joy in the camaraderie he shared with family and friends while watching football games. It was in these moments, surrounded by loved ones, that his vibrant personality truly shined. Michael had an incredible love for his family, and nothing brought him greater happiness than spending quality time with them, cherishing each memory they created together.
Michael first married Pamela in 1984, and together they had three wonderful children: Dwayne Brewster, Marissa (Dustin) Magneson, and Allen Brewster. In 2009, he married the love of his life, Crystal, with whom he would add two more beautiful souls to their family: Shawn and Luckus Brewster. His pride in being a father and grandfather was unmatched; it was his greatest accomplishment, and he wore it like a badge of honor.
He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal; his sons, Dwayne, Allen, Shawn, and Luckus Brewster and daughter Marissa (Dustin) Magneson. Michael is also survived by his brothers John (Patricia) Brewster and Ralph Brewster.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Rocky and Mary Brewster; a beloved brother, Steve Brewster; another brother, Mark Brewster; and his dear sister, Julie Brewster. Each of these losses created a void in Michael’s heart that he carried with him, alongside the cherished memories of their lives together.
As we bid farewell to Michael, we remember his infectious laughter, his tireless spirit, and his boundless love for his family. The lessons he taught, the stories he shared, and the bonds he forged will forever live on in the hearts of those he held dear. His memory will continue to inspire and guide them, reminding all how precious our time with loved ones truly is.
