Michael John Broker IV

Michael John Broker IV, 14, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023. He was born September 16, 2008 in Columbia, Missouri to Michael John Broker III and Leslie Salmons Broker.
Michael attended school at St. Martin Catholic School and St. Joseph Cathedral School. He was an avid outdoorsman and had a passion for nature. He could often be found tinkering outside, hunting for fossils, 4-wheeling, and axe-throwing. Michael also enjoyed gaming and weightlifting. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend and will be deeply missed by those who know and love him.
Michael is survived by his parents, Michael and Leslie; sister, Erin Reilly; maternal grandmother, Judy Orscheln, of Moberly, Missouri; paternal grandparents, Mike and Loretta Broker Jr., of Lohman, Missouri; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald Orscheln.
A Prayer Service will take place on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 3:15 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. following the prayer service. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Cathedral of St. Joseph with Rev. Fr. Louis M. Nelen officiating.
