This was my papa, he was the greatest man I ever knew. I can hardly remember his voice unfortunately, I would do anything to find a recording of him giving him a speech, or something along those lines

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I worked closely with him at ODU, and he was a great guy, warm and friendly. He was always a strong advocate for adult learners, and as VP, managed university resources well. My condolences to Angelia and to his whole family. May Mike RIP.

My heart is breaking for you and the loss of Mike. He was so wonderful to work with at ODU and it is because of him that I am a proud Democrat! I learned so much from him and his examples will live with me forever. I am truly sorry for your loss.
