Michael W. Brown Jr., age 67, of Hull, Texas, passed away on March 15, 2025. He was formerly from Hazelton, New Jersey. Michael was born May 28, 1957, in Somerville, New Jersey, to Michael W. Brown Sr. and Florence (Olexa) Brown, both of whom have preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his beloved wife and partner of nearly 40 years, Cara Lynn Brown.
Michael was a graduate of Hazelton High School and the Hazelton Area Vo-Tech. He later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and held various engineering positions in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Texas. During his career, he traveled around the world as an electrical engineering specialist for numerous Texas engineering firms and oil and gas companies. Prior to his retirement, he served as the Electrical Engineering Manager for Valerus Field Solutions, Oil and Gas Midstream Division, in Houston, Texas.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Brown and Rebecca Stoudt, as well as his grandchildren, Nathan, Malcom, and Ryder Farrell, and Kinsley and Oliver Stoudt.
Cremation was handled under the care of Neal Funeral Home, 200 S. Washington, Cleveland, Texas 77327
