Michael Dean Carr

Michael "Mike" Dean Carr, age 66, of Jack, AL, passed away suddenly on February 10, 2026, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan.

Born February 20, 1959, in Oakland, CA, Mike lived a life defined by his kindness, humor, and a passion for helping others. He worked many different jobs but enjoy his cooking positions, including catering events. He even cooked Melanie and his wedding feast. Mike enjoyed beach trips with his two sons and made every attempt of sharing the world with his sons.

He is survived by his two loving sons, Michael (Mikey) and Antony (Tony) Carr and their sister, Brooklyn Cape, Mike's daughter, Sara Michelle Longatti & husband Adam with their 3 children, Mike's beloved grandchildren: Ayla, Jonah, and Seth. His father, Stanley Thomas Carr, JR & all his siblings, Mary Sarracino, Thomas Carr, David Carr, and Sarah Kono.

Of special note is that Mike was predeceased in death by his wife Melanie Carr and his mother Asae Kawano Carr and Melanie's mother, Patricia Cape.
