Michael Collins Obituary

Michael loved to travel and lived in many places. He was able to see a lot of this world that he now looks down on from above. He was very active and enjoyed playing golf, tennis, football, and any physical activity.
It was Michael's desire to be cremated and to have his ashes scattered in Austria where he enjoyed many cherished days on the slopes. A celebration of life will be held in his honor on June 8th, 2024.

I met Mike and Elfie in Montana at a family reunion...1997? They were always walking and laughing. I wish I'd taken them up on an invite to meet up skiing in the Alps! Good people, good memories. Just graduating from college, it was so much fun to hear of all the adventures awaiting me in life if only I took the initiative to travel, which I have. I took great inspiration from hearing of their travels and the other cousins. God bless your family.

Sad to hear of Michaels passing, many great times while visiting them in Naples, our best to Elfie and the family

Michael and I were high school friends and participated in sports together. A year after graduation Michael and I entered the U. S. Army together for 2 years we spent 6 months in Texas and 18 months in
Germany.
We have been life long friends sand loved each other like brothers. I visited him and Elfie last Sept. and we had lunch together and told all the same old stories over again.
He call me several months ago and said good bye. We are to meet on the other side when I get there.
