Michael Lamar Covington Sr.

Michael L Covington SR, was called home by GOD on July 9, 2024. Son of the late Joe Covington and Margie Roberts. He was an actor and entrepreneur of his own designated driving service. Mike loved his boys, enjoyed music, scenic trips, collecting, drawing, poetry, cooking 5+ meals, having cookouts with family and friends, fishing and helping people. He loved teaching and preaching the Lord Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his loving wife Brenda Covington, 2 sons Michael L (Tanya) Covington Jr, MD, Michael L Covington, III; 3 step-children LaBrenda (Bernard) Miller, Erika Stenson, Foster (Mackie) Stenson, LCDR Navy; his siblings, Andrew (Jackie) Roberts of Chicago, IL, Debbie Roberts of Chicago, IL, Joann Roberts of Conyers, Ga; favorite brother-law, Quinton (Rachel) Harper, Orangeburg, SC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by sister Ethel Randle, 2 brothers Joe and Derrick Roberts.
