Michael T. Cox age 56 of LaBelle, Florida passed away after a courageous battle with lengthy illness on January 11, 2023 in Lehigh Acres, Florida.
Michael was born in Manatee County, Florida on May 9, 1966 to Bert Junior and Janice Todd Cox. He married Lorie A. Opper. Mike owned and operated MC Ventures in LaBelle for many years. Which he started in 1997 and was still operated to this day. Mike was a hard working man who loved what he did for a lving. He made custom truck bodies, buggies, and trailers along with many other items.
Michael leaves fond memories with his loving wife; Lorie A. Cox of LaBelle, two beautiful daughters; Bailey Griffs and her husband Wesley Griffs, Candice McCulley and her husband Brad McCulley, along with four wonderful grandchildren; Paisley and Raelynn Griffs and Cason and Cassidy McCulley, brother; Danny Cox along with many extended family members and family friends.
A celebration of his life will take place at 12:30 p.m. on January 21, 2023, at Lightsey Family Ranch located at 545 New Boot Heal Road Venus, Florida 33960
