Michael B. Crawford, 60, of Canton, Texas, passed away on February 14, 2024. He was born on August 13, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri. Michael was known for his funny and spirited personality. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed smoking, drinking, partying, and hanging out with his family.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Ershia Helms, and their children: sons Clay Sisk and wife Chelcey and Evan Hersman, and daughters Megan Webb and husband Brandon, Amber Brown and husband, Billy. He is also survived by his three brothers: Terry Crawford and wife Kathy, Tom Crawford and wife Robin, and Randy Darrow, as well as his two sisters: Margo Leigh and Jeanna McCarty and husband Randall. Michael was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren: Austin, Shayla, Evan, Jackson, Colton, Eliza, Payton, Everley, Edward, Atticus, Billy Jr., Aiden, and Lilly. He also had one great-grandchild, Ronan. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Wayne and Clara Crawford, and his sister Brenda Thompson.
Michael worked at the B-Mart convenience store in Elmo. He was dedicated to his work and made lasting connections with his colleagues and customers.
Michael worshipped at the Baptist Faith, where he found solace and guidance. His faith was an important part of his life.
In his free time, Michael enjoyed hanging around with family and friends. He cherished the moments spent together, creating lifelong memories.
We extend our deepest condolences to Michael's family and friends during this difficult time. May his memory be a source of comfort and his legacy live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date by the family. The Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas, is assisting with the arrangements.
