Michael Raymond Culler

Michael Raymond Culler, 71, formerly of Wadsworth and more recently of Valley City, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024. He was born March 17, 1953, in Wadsworth to the late John Edward and Evelyn Culler. He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward John Culler and his brother in-law Dr. Marshall M. Kaplan.
Michael was loved by his family and his "caregiving family." He enjoyed field trips, bus rides and loved being with people.
Michael was a big fan of the "I Love Lucy" show and the Three Stooges.
Michael is survived by his sisters: Donna Kaplan, Irene (Tom) Bowers, Florence Culler; brother, John D. (Ellen) Culler, and his aunt, Pauline Kienhofer. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Kara Kaplan, Dr. Allison (Jay) Schwedelson, Lauren (Bobby) LaGaipa, Dr. Rachel (Jeffrey) Eisenberg, Scott (Holland) Bowers, Steven (Melissa) Bowers, Leah (Jon) Fassnacht, George Michael (Brooke) Culler, and many great nieces and nephews.
The family extends a special thank you to the Abbeyville House, Tracy Will, and the entire staff, past and present, for the compassionate care that they provided Michael over the last 20 plus years.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated 9:30 am Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 272 Broad St., Wadsworth, Ohio.
