Mike is remembered by his loved ones as a down to earth guy with a great sense of humor, a deep and loud laugh and passion for travel and sports.
Mike graduated with a B.A in political science from Wittenberg University and went on to receive a MBA from Northwestern University. He built a successful career seeking to advance healthcare technology while bridging the gap to make key healthcare testing accessible for all.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his adult children Claire (Wade) Underwood, Caroline Curran and William Curran.
A private gathering will be held at a later date for family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Mike's loved ones encourage you to play a round of golf in his memory.

To Michaels children, you do not know me but I knew and worked with your Dad. I hired him at Transamerica Re and we worked together on other things over many years. We established a friendship. Your Dad was a wonderful person, and conducted himself with class and honor. He loved you and he shared his pride with me often. I will remember much but particularly his smile, laugh and sense of humor. Cherish his memory! Glenn Cunningham
