Obituary of Michael Brian Dalton
Michael Brian Dalton, a man dedicated to his family, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, March 15, 2022. Michael was just 52 years old.
Michael was born in Winchester. He was the son of the late Francis H. "Frank" and Marguerite A. "Peg" Dalton. He was raised and educated in Burlington. Michael was a graduate of Burlington High School. After high school he went on to have a career as a Union bricklayer. Michael was a skilled craftsman responsible for constructing brickwork and was very knowledgeable in different types of bricks and how to construct or repair within industry standards.
Michael loved freshwater fishing. As a child he could walk to the Burlington Reservoir, which was right up the street from his home, and enjoy a day of fishing. Wherever there was a body of water, Mike would seek out the location and go fishing. He loved anything to do with nature and when his children were young they enjoyed vacationing in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Michael's number one priority in his life was his family. He was a loving and proud father to his children. He was a great cook and loved to prepare meals for his family with Thanksgiving being his favorite. Mike especially enjoyed Sunday cookouts with his family. He had a wonderful relationship with his wife Santa who was his soulmate. For the past 24 years they had lived in Salem. They loved living in Salem and taking walks throughout the city, especially during the Halloween festivities.
Michael was the beloved husband of Santa Sepulveda. He was the proud and loving father of Alyssa Osborne of Billerica, Daniel Dalton of Salem, Ashley Osborne of Burlington, and Elizabeth Rae of Salem. Michael was the grandfather of Kayleigh and Layla. Michael was the loving brother of Kelly Ann Halley of Brandon, FL and Francis "Frank" Dalton, III & his wife Paula of Hookset, NH.
Michael had a big heart and always saw the good in everyone. He will be remembered for his warmth and for always being a bright light in a dark room.
Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington on Monday, March 21 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials in Michael's name may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter. www.northeastanimalshelter.org
