Of Hempfield, age 26, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
Michael was the incredible loving son of Roseanne (Chabanik) Debruyn of Irwin and the late Michael G. Debruyn.
He was the beloved companion and dear friend of Katelyn Kovacs.
Grandson of William Chabanik and the late Carol and late Michael Mesiarik; late Herman George "Butch" Debruyn and the late Catherine Clade Ingelido.
Nephew of Monica (Robert) Kitta, Linda (Jeff) Carlson, Margaret (late Nicholas) Ursta, David (Laura) Debruyn and their children and Richard (Aimee) Ingelido and their child.
Cousin of Ashley Kitta and her daughter, Sophia, Adam Kitta, Jeffrey Carlson and his son, Blake, and Cody Carlson.
Michael was a 2014 graduate of McKeesport High School. He has a craftsman in the field of home improvements doing installations of kitchens, bathrooms, windows and any home improvement. He has worked for Nemes Glass, West Shore Homes and most recently, Spotless Solutions. Michael was actively pursuing entering the U.S. military. In his spare time, Michael enjoyed riding motorcycles (especially his Dad's Harley Davidson), playing X-Box, taking road Trips, driving his Mustang, and caring for his Great Dane, "Harley". Michael had a huge heart and was willing to help anyone who ever needed help, as he was guided by his faith and love of God. He sincerely loved his family to the depths of his being and he will be deeply missed by his loving Mom, Roseanne.
Friends are welcome on Sunday from 1-6pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.
Michael's funeral service will be held in the Norwin Christian Church on Barnes Lake Road on Monday at 10 a.m.
Michael will be laid to rest in Restland Cemetery in Monroeville.
Memorial donations may be made to the family. A Go Fund Me site in Michael's name has been activated.
