Always and forever. Will never forget our after Golf adventures around Oak Hill! I remember being introduced to golf and looking at the Scores put up of all beginner's 9holer's club on the big green board... 94,97,101,87..... I remember how upset you were that your score wasn't up..... 45... they accidentally grouped your score with the super young kids Playing only 4 holes b/c your forty somethin shot lead over the rest of us almost seemed unfeasible for your age... Not for little Michael who was also properly dressed and displaying etiquette worthy of a PGA player. Mr. Harmon then announced the mistake, rightfully adjusting you into your well deserved 1st place position, & you couldn't have been happier.

I remember sitting with Ben Harmon & John Ryan watching Clark Brandt and Robbie Strandberg competing with one and other, for hours & HOURS, on the Oak Hill driving range attempting to hit a ball over the net in the back of the range..... an exhausted Mikie ran by and John, Ben and myself all leapt up encouraging you to join! -To give you an idea of enormity of heart and soul that existed inside Michael Dugan, & how he would extraordinarily pour every bit of it into the things he loved and was passionate about ..... well he he had agreed to hit one ball. This was because this driven 13yr old had just walked 18holes caddying a Double!
His time was tight as he ran by us, because he was on his way to grab his golf shoes, so he could go Play 18holes, and he couldn't have had more energy or been any happier about it! That one ball was the first time I ever saw one go over the net. That's who always were to me Michael Dugan, a man who's heart and soul will never have limits... that's who you grew into and who you will always be.

Luv ya bud.
Claudie

My heart and soul reaches out to all the family.
I can understand the sorrow you feel. ALS is a devastating disease as we watched my nephew try to fight this terrible disease. We lost him just 4 days before his birthday and 10 days before
Christmas. As you know nothing can be done to stop it. I am so sorry Michael had to suffer this. I am sure that Michael has his rewards in Heaven and is joyful.
May peace and happy memories strengthen you through this very difficult time.
