Garwood, NJ, formerly of Pittsford, NY, passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2024 at age 37. He was predeceased by grandparents Seymour and Melanie Kurlan and David Morris, aunt Karen Morris and uncle Douglas Kurlan.
He is survived by his parents, Dr. Roger and Cathy Kurlan; sister, Melissa (Brandon) Kaufman; grandmother, Geraline Morris; nieces and nephews, Dylan and Madelyn Kaufman; aunts and uncles, Jeffrey and Janet Morris and Pamela and Ralph Roperti; cousins, Jonathan Morris, Jamie (Aaron) Epstein, Chelsi (Mark) Mattiacio and Ashley Roperti.
Matt was a graduate of Pittsford Sutherland High School and SUNY Brockport. He loved soccer, music, animals and his niece and nephew.
A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, April 28th at 12:30 PM at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the main entrance to the cemetery at 12:15 PM.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00-4:30pm at 58 Windelin Drive, Henrietta.
