Michael Dumphy Obituary
Michael was born on March 6,1958 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Thomas and Lois (Hanlon) Dumphy. Mike was raised primarily in Walpole, Massachusetts and graduated from Walpole High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from College of the Holy Cross and remained a dedicated supporter of the college throughout his life. Michael lived in Attleboro for many years and enjoyed learning about the town's history.
Mike was dedicated to his family and friends. He was generous and thoughtful, with a talent for gift-giving and sending special cards. He had wit and a sense of humor. Mike enjoyed photography, music, political discourse, and following his favorite sports teams.
Michael is survived by his loving sisters Patricia Diaz and Kathryn Dolan and brother James T. Dumphy, along with seven nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his parents and his beloved aunt and grandparents.
Services will be private.

A lot of memories from times on The Hill may be faded, but one that has not is Michael. Even as more of a friendly acquaintance than a close friend, I remember him clearly & fondly. I think that says a lot about the man.
