DUSENBERY, Michael David - age 74, of Linden, died June 9, 2023. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with Fr. David Harvey officiating. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held from 2-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home where a rosary will be held at 7 PM Tuesday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to Loose Senior Citizens Center, 707 N Bridge St, Linden, MI 48451. Michael was born December 5, 1948 in Flint, the son of Charles and Patricia (Butz) Dusenbery. Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He married Toni Lyn Catanese in October 9, 1971 and she preceded him in death on May 12, 2014. Michael was a Journeyman Painter with Chrysler Corporation retiring in 2006. He was a Michigan State University Sports fan and enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling. Surviving are: four children, Rebecca (Kevin) MacDermaid of Flushing, Katheryn Dusenbery of Big Rapids, Lisa Dusenbery of Linden, and David (Dabney) Dusenbery of Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren, Mallory (Kevin) Lane, Jacob (Samantha) MacDermaid and Nicole MacDermaid (Joseph Dittenber); 3 great-grandchildren, Sophia, Andre, and Rylie; siblings, Chuck, Nancy, Eleanor, Marcella, Elizabeth, Charlene, John, Jim and Ted; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Toni; his parents, Charles and Patricia; two sisters, Barb and Patricia and brother, Joe.
