Michael S. Engel, age 53, of Wautoma, passed away Wednesday evening, May 28, 2025.
He was born August 16, 1971 in New London, the son of Merlin and Rose (Babino) Engel. He married Stacy A. Ebert on March 3, 2006.
Michael grew up in New London graduating from New London High School in 1989. He served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1996. Michael loved being in his garage woodcarving and doing projects. He was employed at Oshkosh Truck. He moved to Wautoma in 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Stacy A. Engel: his children, Scott Engel, Miranda Engel and Eric Engel; the light of his life, granddaughter, Olivia Engel; his parents, Merl and Rose Engel; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jim and Rose Ebert; siblings, Annette and Steve Wilken, Lisa (Chad) Swinford, Cynthia Philippon, Renee (Tracy) Peebles, Curt Engel, Craig (Amanda) Engel, Tara (Brian) Beasley, Bradley Engel, sister-in-law Amy (Jay) Jacobs, brother-in-laws Eugene Ebert and Craig Ebert, lots and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, King, WI.
