To my brother, not only in the flesh, but also in The Lord Jesus Christ.
The only and best comfort that I have, is knowing in my heart of hearts that I will see you again. You fought a good fight, you finished the race. The Amazing grace cd that Amy made brings me so much comfort. My prayers are with Lauri, Amy, Scooter and all the family. Mike, you have left a legacy, and you spur me on to share his grace with others. I will miss the phone calls, of you asking "how you doing brother" You were always there for others, always more concerned about them than yourself. You are a true warrior in my eyes, and I am so thankful for all that love. I thank God that I was able to met your wonderful strong wife and children. See you later, your big brother,
Dean

Mike lived his life like this, "The past is gone beyond prayer, and every minute you spend in the vain effort to anticipate the future is a moment lost. There is only one world, the world pressing against you at this minute. There is only one minute in which you are alive, this minute ... here and now. The only way to live is by accepting each minute as an unrepeatable miracle. Which is exactly what it is...a miracle and unrepeatable." Mike we miss you dearly you mighty man of God! Lauri, Rick, Shanna and the rest of the wonderful Everson family, Our prayers and love are with you.

Mike was one of my husband's very dearest friends in life. They were pals in junior high before they met the Lord as their Savior, and then grew to be brothers that had a tighter bond that would last forever. Tony always talks of Mike with deep respect, admiration, fun memories, and appreciation. I am grateful that my husband had such an incredible friend in Mike. Although we lived so far apart for many years, the bond was still there and God-given love was so evident between these two men who had been boys together. Tony's grateful for the phonecall a few weeks ago from Mike. They talked, laughed, and dreamed together of the future glory that awaits us all who love the Lord. Take care, Lauri, and may you know that you will be in our family's prayers for many days, weeks, and months to come. Thank you for sharing Mike with so many people.

Of all the people I have ever known who have come to Christ, Mike was the biggest inspiration. His witness impacted so many in the people in the Rogue Valley. What a wonderful example he became for the Lord. I am so blessed to have known Mike and Lauri. Lauri, my dear sweet friend, it has been a long time since I have seen you, but you are in my heart and prayers. May God give you the peace that passes all understanding as you carry on, until once again you can be together with your dear, sweet, love, and stand before our Lord. I look forward to that day as I am sure you do too. May you feel our prayers and our love. To Mike I send my love and gratitude for being such a wonderful witness to me in my walk. You have blessed my life. Thank you

Mike and his family were a big part of my childhood. The memories of camping, family dinners and playing with Amy and Scooter are and always will be a big part of my life. Mike was so loving and was the last one to ever pass judgement on me. He was always full of love and encouragement. I could look into his eyes and truly feel loved and exepted. I Love you Mike and will miss your smile, hugs, love and encouragement.

Mike... I remember all your visits to me at my office. One day I remember so vividly. You stopped by and I had just purchased the new casting crowns CD. Their song "I will praise you in this storm" was so fitting for how I saw you fight this terrible disease. I gave you that CD and you had a shining tear in your eyes. From then on everytime you came in and gave those big ol bear hugs of yours. i would ask how you were doing, and you told me with a big smile on your face and thumbs pointing up.... I am praising him in the storm baby!!!
I love ya and you will forever be in my heart.

To all who will read this, My Dad was the most amazing man on the planet. I don't just feel sad for myself and my family but for all he touched and reached in his short life. I was blessed to have him be my Father. It will be our mission now to love others as he always did. He exemplified the love of Christ each and everyday. I pray I can live up to the challenge he has laid in front of me. Big shoes to fill doesn't quite say it. I LOVE YOU NOW AND FOREVER DAD.

Mike and I were each others very first friend. We met in Kindergarden and then 5 years later became family. We grew up together out in Sams Valley exploring nevery inch of it. He really enjoyed bthe outdoors and checking out new places that he hadn't been at before. His love for God ande family were as deep as anyone could possibhly be and the fellowship he shared with others was a tremendous joy to him. I will always cherish the memories that he and I shared together and will be truly sad for the memories that we never got to make. I love you my brother from another mother.
