Michael V. Fico

Michael Fico, age 62, of Bridgeport, Connecticut passed away peacefully at home on January 8, 2023. He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on May 9, 1960 beloved son of Mary Fico and the late Anthony Fico. He graduated from Central High School. He was very athletic during his youth and he loved playing football and basketball. He relocated to Derby where he lived for 24 years before returning to his hometown. He really enjoyed watching NY Yankees games, NY Giants and suspenseful movies. He was extremely proud of his Italian heritage. He delighted in all of the foods that represent his culture, especially Italian pastries. He was always thrilled to experience different cultural dishes too. He worked hard as a Printing Press Operator for many years at CCL Label in Shelton. He was a devoted father who was loved by all who knew him. He is described by his loved ones as kind- hearted, generous, amusing, fun and entertaining. He had an amazing sense of humor. Michael is survived by his three daughters who made him very proud, Nicole Fico (Carlos Rodriguez), Melissa Fico, and Jessica Fico, 2 grandsons, Anthony and CJ Fico, his loving siblings Angela and Anthony E. Fico who cared for him until his final days. Calling hours and interment will be private for family and friends at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby.
