Mike had such a wide range of interests! I learned all about the hurdy gurdy one afternoon while bowling with Mike. He was quite musical and very knowledgeable. His tee shirts were a reflection of the things he cared about but his biggest passion were the grandkids and the fun he had with them.

Mike was a great person to be around. He was very proud of and always talked of his work at World's of Fun, especially as a train engineer. He enjoyed bowling very much and was very good at it, and had a great family of friends there as well. Prayers to the family. He will be sorely missed!!

I had the privilege of working with Mike for two seasons at WOF. He was truly one of the nicest and most caring persons I've ever known, and a terrific steam locomotive engineer. He loved to talk about his family, and you knew immediately how much he cared for them. My prayers go out to his family and friends at this sad time, and in the days ahead.

Mike was a great, fun teammate. A competitive bowler, helping our team win 1st place and patient when he joined our summer family team of beginners. Mike was a great storyteller. We loved hearing about his trips with Elaine and his adventures with the WOF train, and he loved talking about his grandkids. We will miss Mike (and his hats). Our prayers for Mike's family.
