Michael Leon Frazier 78, entered into rest on June 2, 2025. Known for his kindness, humility, and deep devotion to his family and community, Mike was born on October 18, 1946, and raised in Lincolnton, Georgia. He was a longtime resident of Thomson, Georgia. As a graduate of the Lincoln County High School Class of 1965, Mike dedicated his professional life to serving families working in the banking and mortgage industry. He began his career with Knox Mortgage working for Boone and Pete Knox. He retired from Farmers State Bank in Lincolnton, Georgia. Throughout his career, his professionalism, compassion, and work ethic left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Mike was a lifelong member of Goshen Baptist Church in Lincolnton, where he began attending as a child and later served faithfully as a Deacon. His faith was the cornerstone of his life, and he was deeply committed to his church family. If you were looking for Mike on a Friday, you could find him at Sweet T's eating catfish filets, then under the stadium lights in his usual seat, cheering on the Lincoln County Red Devils. He also loved spending time on his tractor, fishing, hunting, and being surrounded by the people he loved most. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Edna Frazier of Lincolnton, GA. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Cannon; his beloved granddaughter, Ella; his brothers, Gene Frazier (Barbara) of Grovetown, GA, and Barry Frazier (Lesley) of Evans, GA; his nieces, Ashlee (Tommy) Sheppard, Courtney Payne and Dr. Heather Frazier (Michael VanDeventer); his nephew, Don Pennington (Cheryln); great-nephews, Trevor Payne and Wick Medlin; great-nieces, Madyson Payne and Maddox Medlin; and his very dear friends, Darrell "Pic" and Susan Pickard. Mike will be remembered for his generous spirit, strong faith, and unwavering love for his family and hometown. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. The celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Goshen Baptist Church with Rev. Drew Hall and Rev. Paul Reviere officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday in the church sanctuary. Serving as pallbearers will be Clay Antonakos, Bobby Burgess, Larry Campbell, Patrick Lunceford, Robert Poss, Ray Thompson and Robert White. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to Goshen Baptist Church, P.O. Box 716, Lincolnton, GA. 30817. You may sign the family's online guestbook at: www.reesfuneralhome.net.
