Mr. William "Bubba" Cothran Duncan, 75, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 18, 2025 surrounded by his loving family at the residence on Double Branches Rd. Mr. Duncan was born on January 1, 1950 and was the son of the late William Gordon Duncan and the late Margaret Gregory Duncan of Laurens, South Carolina. Bubba lived a life marked by humility, hard work and an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. Bubba was a retired business owner and skilled pipe fitter. HIs quiet strength, servant's heart and deep love for the Lord influenced everyone around him. Bubba's legacy is one of faith, family and a life lived for the glory of God. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Bubba's greatest joy was his family, which included his beloved and devoted wife, Judith Willard Duncan; proud father of two sons, Chris "Woody" Duncan and wife, Anna and William "B.J." Duncan and wife, Emily; and eleven grandchildren, Greyson Tranter, Leslie-Kate and husband, Luke, Malachi, Lauryn, Londyn, Pharrell, Landon, Haven, Tinley and Oakley to whom he was more than a grandfather - he was a spiritual example, encourager and friend. Bubba will be cremated, in accordance with his wishes. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the Soap Creek Restaurant, 2489 Soap Creek Lodge Rd., Lincolnton, GA 30817. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request that memorial contributions may be made to ARK International, P.O. Box 10123, Augusta, GA 30903 or online at: www.ark-int.org .
