I just learned of his passing.
What a shock . Haven't seen him in quite some time but thought about our great hunting antics many time .
He was a great man with a heart of gold .
He tought me long distance shooting with his muzzleloader . Somethings you can never forget and cherish forever .

My dear dear Friend ...I´m heartbroken..I´ll cherish the memories. Life is so short, we should live like it´s our last day, forgive others,, take time for ourselves and enjoy something we love, Mike loved his children. He was so proud of them. I will miss you and carry you in my heart.

Michael Richard Gargano Sr was born on March 22, 1971 in Quincy, Massachusetts to the the late Brenda "Namarrah" Gargano and James Gargano Sr of Hingham, Massachusetts. Big Mike, fondly known as Gargs to his Hingham friends was a lover of the outdoors and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a formidable lacrosse and football player at Hingham High School, where he graduated from in 1989. He continued to coach Pop Warner Football and lacrosse teams in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle and Quincy College, prior to following in his father's footsteps and becoming a talented plumber. He enjoyed reading and had a keen sense of humor and intelligence which he bestowed upon his children. Michael Sr is survived by his children Michael Jr, Maria, Matthew and his former wife Lisa Daly-Gargano of Gloucester, Massachusetts. He was the loving brother of James and Audra Gargano of Wakefield, Massachusetts, Cynthia Gargano of Hingham, Massachusetts, and Uncle to Dillon and Faith Gargano of Wakefield, Massachusetts.
Michael will be lovingly remembered by his children and family for the many good times we shared. Though we are apart, we know one day when our time comes to join Mike again we will be reunited as a family.
God Speed Gargs! Show heaven how to party!
A funeral mass will be held for Gargs in Gloucester, Massachusetts. All are welcome to come in peace to celebrate Garg's life. An obituary will provide details in the Patriot Ledger.
